One of my innumerable hobbies is lathe work. I make pens and rings. Rings can either be made from scratch of from kits. When turning a ring on the lathe, both the inside and outside need to be shaped, sanded, polished, etc. Due to the small size and narrow shape of most rings, it can be difficult to work with them on the lathe.
